Los Angeles Graduate Art + Design Symposium

Thinking about pursuing a graduate degree in art or design in Los Angeles? Hosted by ArtCenter College of Design, the Los Angeles Graduate Art + Design Symposium brings together leading art and design graduate programs from across the Los Angeles region for a day designed specifically for prospective graduate students.

The symposium will offer opportunities to: 

• Explore AICAD graduate programs from ArtCenter College of Design, California Institute of the Arts (CalArts), Otis College of Art and Design, and University of Redlands. 

• Attend graduate admissions information sessions to learn about programs, application requirements, portfolio/program requirements, scholarships, deadlines, and the admissions process. 

• Meet faculty from participating programs through conversations and a faculty panel focused on graduate study and creative practice. 

• Receive portfolio reviews and feedback from graduate admissions representatives. 

• Ask questions directly of current program representatives and learn what graduate school is really like. 

• Discover pathways across disciplines, from art and design to architecture, media, visual culture, and interdisciplinary practices.
